Fat Loss 4 Idiots-Calorie Counting BS

Calories are not the enemy according to Fat loss 4 idiots. You should not be wasting your time on something as dumb as calorie counting thinking that if you control that number then you will drop a ton of weight. It just doesn’t work that way. If in fact you cut back on your caloric consumption too quickly, you will reach a plateau, or a point where your body will not drop any more weight no matter how little you are eating.

These starvation type of diets do not work at all. In fact, they trick the body into going into a kind of saviour, starvation or hibernation type of mode. If your body thinks that it isn’t getting enough in the way of caloric intake, food for those of you who are not too bright, then it will do everything in it’s power to hang on to what it has so that you won’t starve to death. Your body has no idea that you just want to drop 10, 20 or 100 pounds. It thinks that it is in trouble, and does everything necessary to survive. Even though you have cut back your eating habits by a couple thousand calories a day doing calorie counting, Fat loss 4 idiots points out that what your body does is it starts to shut down non essential things and it goes on an energy savings program. In essence what it does to compromise for the reduction of calorie intake is it starts to find ways of cutting back on it’s own calorie burning. It slows down. When the body does this, at this point is when you reach your plateau for weight loss, and you won’t lose any more weight with this method.

Even though you may have lost a significant amount of weight trying this method out for a while, the truth of the matter is that the majority of the weight that you may have lost did not come from the fat burning method that you had hoped for. You didn’t lose any fat from this crazy method. most of the loss that may have realized while testing this out comes from the loss of water weight. As soon as you begin to eat again in a normal manner, all that weight that you thought you were working so hard to drop will come back to you in a flash, and perhaps it might come back packing more weight than you originally lost. That is not a recommended or a good way of trying to lose weight. It is also very emotionally frustrating should you try this way and then suddenly you get heavier. It makes you want to give up dieting totally. Forget calorie counting.
